Here are some pics from the day. I had a private plate put on, again to de-age it :P
I made a little bung to stop people putting stones/wrappers/urine into the airbox
Some pics from out on track;
Loads of people were watching on the first corner, a guy on the DC5 forum snapped this powerslide for the lads!
Former car - no longer own this car7 updates 2 followers 29 mods2012-11-23 13:01:04I took it to a very wet donington. After a very slidy morning and nearly writing it off after the old hairpin I decided to stop trying to go fast and just flick it out for the cameras on the old hairpin, and call it a win. The decals are magnetic
Former car - no longer own this car7 updates 2 followers 29 mods2012-11-23 12:58:07The Tegiwa S2000 airbox is "very similar" to the Mugen, and genuine Mugen bumpers have a vent to feed it. I don't really like the bumper, and definitely don't like the price! So Andy at my work cut out the bumper, and moulded a CF vent to go in. This slotted directly into the airbox and worked really well. Excuse the JDM bonnet stay
Former car - no longer own this car7 updates 2 followers 29 mods2012-11-23 12:54:01I was still breaking the DC5 and a guy offered this Amuse catback as a swap for my brembos, so I took it! It is full titanium and weighs just 6kg, standard is 23kg!
I also got a PLM header, I had to fit an engine damper as it hit the steering column (it's meant for LHD cars)
I fitted the Racing Loic coilovers, a job I was dreading as S2ks are just about the worst Honda for bolt's snapping. The fronts went on without a hitch, the rears were so bad I got a JDM subframe and replaced the lot.
I fitted the diffuser too;

Former car - no longer own this car7 updates 2 followers 29 mods2012-11-23 12:48:05The first thing I did was fit a CF bonnet and airbox, the bonnet has to be cut for the airbox as it goes over the slam panel (a genuine mugen bonnet has a bulge to accomodate for this, but just cutting the ribbing underneath is enough on a standard one)
I fitted the Slipstreams and took a photo with my mate's Fireblade.

Luckily it turned out to be a really sunny week!
